It has maintained its reputation for being one of the best two-year university transfer colleges in the country over the past few years. They currently have more than 2100 students on board studying through a wide array of courses.

HOW TO APPLY

Application Deadlines:
June 30, 2020 for Fall 2020
November 16, 2020 for Winter 2021
March 15, 2021 for Summer 2021
June 30, 2021 for Fall 2021

STEP 2
Pay the application fee of $200 through Flywire and submit the following documents:

  • Transcripts of the most recent school results
  • High school graduation certificate (for applicants to university programs)
  • Copy of the personal information page in your passport
  • Standard English test (IELTS, TOEFL, etc) results if available

Unless you are applying through one of our authorized representatives, original copies or notarized copies of the original documents are required for the purpose of admission to Columbia College. The College processes applications upon receipt of all required documents and issues an offer of admission to successful applicants within two weeks.

STEP 3
Payment of Tuition Deposit
On receipt of the offer of admission, overseas students are required to prepay a tuition deposit of $12,900.00 (covering 24 credits over two semesters, as well as activity fees). Local transfer students are required to pay a tuition deposit of $6,450.00 (covering 12 credits coursework plus one semester’s activity fee). An official Letter of Acceptance will be issued when the full amount is paid. Enrollment at the College is limited and places cannot be guaranteed unless the tuition deposit described above has been received before the deadline. All fees are in Canadian funds and may be paid via Flywire. Applicants should read the College’s Refund Policy before submitting fees.

STEP 4
Please ensure you have a valid study permit.
Study Permits
Successful overseas applicants should present their letter of acceptance to the nearest Canadian High Commission, Embassy, or Consulate as part of the application for a Study Permit to study in Canada. Applicants should allow adequate time for processing of the Permit.

Study Permits may not be required for ESL-only programs of less than or equal to six months duration.

Columbia College participates in the Student Direct Stream (SDS) in India, China, Vietnam, and the Philippines. We encourage students from these countries to apply for their study permit under the SDS. To learn more about the SDS, please visit this website.
